AhlulBayt News Agency: Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei has strongly denounced Israel’s recent attacks on Syrian defense facilities and infrastructure, calling them a blatant violation of territorial integrity and international law.
According to IRNA, in a statement, Baqaei described the strikes as a gross breach of the United Nations Charter and fundamental legal norms, asserting that Israel’s actions are aimed at destabilizing and weakening Syria. He labeled the attacks as evidence of the regime’s lawlessness and dangerous agenda.
Baqaei urged the international community to intervene and put an end to Israel’s occupation of key areas in Syria. He stressed that responsibility for the escalating insecurity in the region falls on Israel’s Western allies, particularly the United States, which continues to provide arms and support for Israeli military operations.
The spokesperson reiterated Iran’s stance against external aggression in the region, emphasizing the need for decisive measures to uphold sovereignty and peace.
